Emerald Valley Artisans
When I was thinking of a greeting for this page I kept thinking about everyday life. We make a lot of decisions in our everyday lives. The outcome of those decisions has a whole lot to do with the quality of the information we put into making them. That quality is influenced by our sense of ourselves, our values and what we believe to be true and important. This scenario plays out time and again in the everyday life of the farm. The daily decisions we make regarding how we choose to farm have been influenced by our tradition and guided by a strong sense of our values. As we work to blend the time honored traditions of our past with the vast knowledge of the present we are reminded that the combination of the two, balanced with common sense (and a bit of cow sense) can make for farming that cares for all. We believe this type of farming yields nutritious and wholesome foods while maintaining respect and integrity for the land and those who live there.Welcome to everyday life at Emerald Valley Artisans.
Please "like" us on Facebook if you are interested in events and the day-to-day goings on at the farm and/or our shop, Bank 40 Mercantile.
Bank 40 Mercantile is located a short walk from the farm in village, of Scenery Hill, PA, across the street from the historic Century Inn-1794.
You can usually find one of us at the shop over the weekend, that is when we aren’t milking cows, delivering calves, fixing tractors or a plethora of other farm related tasks.
Stop by and say hello when you have the time.
Thanks for your support!
Very Sincerely,
Alisa Fava-Fasnacht & Alan J Fasnacht
